Ruth has travelled extensively in the third world and lived in Africa for over ten years.  Before joining WMF USA Ruth set up her own organisation "AfricanAidsOrphans.

Nazlie was born on L'Isle de La Reunion, off the East African coast and is well experienced in "Hands on" project management in resource-poor environments.
David Spencer: Chairman of WMF in the U.K.
“David is currently the Principal and Chief Executive of the UK National School of Government which is part of the Cabinet Office. He has also been a Non-Executive Director of HM Revenue and Customs since it’s creation in 2005 out of the Inland Revenue and HM Customs (where he was a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee). Before taking up his current role David had been the Managing Director of a group of companies in Smiths Industries and prior to that Group HR Director at Smiths. He has travelled extensively in Africa and first spent time in Malawi in 2001.”
