Mosquito
Nets
Malaria is still Africa's biggest killer, the attributed cause of over one third of all recorded deaths. The best protection is a mosquito net, treated with the mosquito repellent Permethrin.
A net will typically be shared by three or four children.
A donation of $35 will protect 18 children, $135 will protect all the children in a typical village.

Malaria
Falciparum is the commonest and most dangerous of the four and can be fatal if untreated. The parasites are transmitted from one person to another by the female anopheline mosquito.
